Hand-forged from a single length of 8mm mild steel, this iron torc bracelet features a twisted body decorated with hand-engraved runes.

Each bracelet is individually forged at Stronsay Forge in Orkney. The steel is heated, shaped and twisted by hand before the runic markings are engraved into the surface.

The twisting creates flowing ridges along the bracelet, with polished highlights contrasting against the darker forge texture. The ends are left smooth and rounded, completing the traditional open-ended torc design.

Inspired by historical iron jewellery and runic decoration, this bracelet combines traditional blacksmithing with a simple, distinctive design.

As each torc is individually made, slight variations in shape, engraving and surface finish are to be expected.

A substantial piece of wearable ironwork, made using traditional forging techniques.

Care information

Mild steel can develop surface rust when exposed to moisture.

Keep the bracelet dry and wipe with a soft cloth after wearing, particularly following contact with perspiration.

Apply a light coating of suitable protective wax when required, removing any excess before wearing.

Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes and household chemicals.

Do not repeatedly bend or force the bracelet, as this may weaken or distort the metal.

International shipping is available, with a base shipping charge of £20. Applicable import duties and tariffs are calculated at checkout where supported.
