Large Hand-Forged Brass Wall Hook – Rustic Indoor & Outdoor Hook

I forge each of these large brass wall hooks individually by hand at Stronsay Forge in Orkney. Made from solid brass, each hook has a substantial curved end, a flattened mounting section and two fixing holes. The hammer marks and variations in the surface are part of the character of genuine hand-forged metalwork.

Each hook is heated, hammered and shaped individually rather than cast or mass-produced. The brass is drawn out and curved to form the hook, with a flattened, drilled mounting section for secure installation.

Approximate dimensions:

• Overall height: 150mm
• Hook curve diameter: 50mm
• Two fixing holes, approximately 5mm diameter each

Brass is naturally corrosion-resistant and suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Outdoors, it will gradually darken and develop a natural patina. Use suitable corrosion-resistant fixings for exterior installation.

Ideal for coats, hats, bags, hallways, cloakrooms, sheds, workshops, cabins and traditional interiors.

For care, wipe with a soft cloth. To maintain a brighter finish, clean occasionally with a suitable brass cleaner; otherwise allow the brass to age naturally.

Fixings are not supplied. This listing is for ONE hand-forged brass wall hook.

As every hook is individually forged, the dimensions, curves and hammer marks will vary slightly from those pictured.
