A compact, hand-forged knife with an integral loop handle, individually made at Stronsay Forge in Orkney.

Forged from a single piece of steel, the handle is drawn out and curved back to form its distinctive open loop. The blade retains its dark, textured forge finish, contrasting with the polished cutting edge and smooth curves of the handle.

Measuring approximately 5 inches overall, this knife combines a simple, traditional design with the character of hand-forged ironwork.

Each knife is supplied with a handmade, hand-stitched leather sheath, individually fitted to protect the blade.

Optional Personalisation

The blade can be personalised with up to two initials or two runes, engraved by hand at Stronsay Forge at no additional cost.

As each knife is individually forged and finished by hand, slight variations in shape, dimensions and appearance are to be expected.

Each knife is individually hand-forged and finished by hand.

Care information

Keep the blade clean and dry after use. Apply a thin coat of suitable oil periodically to help protect the steel against rust.

Clean by hand and dry thoroughly after use. Do not leave the knife soaking in water or place it in a dishwasher.

Keep the leather sheath clean and dry. If it becomes wet, allow it to dry naturally away from direct heat.

For long-term storage, keep the knife in a dry environment, preferably outside its leather sheath.

All knives are dispatched using Royal Mail's Age Verification delivery service. The recipient must be aged 18 or over, and valid photographic identification may be required upon delivery.
